Goodwill's
The resort was originally called Goodwill's, started by Isaac Goodwill in the early years of the twentieth century. In those early days it drew guests who arrived by steamboat from Tower after traveling up by train — and stayed not for a week, but the whole summer. Isaac fed up to 100 people for Sunday dinner.
