Lake Vermilion has been drawing serious anglers to northeastern Minnesota for generations. At 40,000 acres with 365 islands and 290 miles of shoreline, it offers an almost endless variety of structure — deep rocky points, submerged reefs, weedy bays, and clear open water.
Muskies to 55 inches. Walleyes past 30. Northern pike pushing 20 pounds. Smallmouth bass and crappie rounding out one of the best multi-species fisheries in the state. The lake opens in May and fishes well through October.

Muskego Point is open May through October. Weekly rentals run Saturday to Saturday. Eleven cabins, all with private docks on the lake. Availability goes fast in summer — call early.
